Touching Nature Travel is a unique specialist travel operator. From our office in Germany’s Bavaria we offer truly amazing, independent walking holidays in Europe – aimed specifically at the English-speaking market - to the most scenic, inspiring and unspoilt corners of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Italian Dolomites and South Tyrol.
The owner of Touching Nature Travel, Magdalena Seifert, set up the business in 2005. Her simple but effective philosophy is to offer great self-guided walking holidays, at a fair price, in the countries she knows and loves.
Having lived, worked and studied in Ireland and the UK for 13 years, and been involved in the activity travel, marketing, hospitality, and tourism industry for over 20 years, Magdalena brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Touching Nature Travel. She has managed to convert what is, essentially, a personal passion, into a small but well-run business. She is a seasoned traveller and a qualified Mountain Leader. Over the years she has organised and led numerous walking holidays for groups throughout Ireland, Great Britain and the Alps. Her personal walking experience spans much of Europe, as well as Africa and North America. When she’s not out researching new and exciting walking holidays, Magdalena is in the office supporting our small, friendly and efficient team, handling enquiries and bookings.
