Under whose name should the booking for your walking holiday be made? The reservation should be made under the name of the person who is the lead member of the party on behalf of all the people named on the booking request form. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided on the booking request form is accurate, that everyone is familiar with our Booking Conditions.
How do I book my walking holiday? It’s very simple. Complete the online booking request form on our 128 bit encrypted secure site. Prior to this make sure you read our easy step-by-step guide on how to book a Touching Nature Travel walking holiday.

How do I pay for my walking holiday? We require a credit card to confirm and process your reservation; however, for balance payments we also accept International Money Transfer and Euro Bank Draft.
When do you charge my credit card? Your credit card will be charged for the deposit only on receipt of your booking request form. If you choose to pay the balance by credit card then you must complete the Pay Balance form on this site. Alternatively, you can authorise us at the time of booking to make an automatic charge to your card account for the balance 4 weeks prior to your holiday.
At what point is a booking confirmed? To make a booking for one of our walking holidays you must complete our online booking request form and submit it together with any payment required. However, completing the booking request form and receipt of a deposit does not guarantee a booking. Only when we send out our email confirmation, including the confirmation invoice, is your booking confirmed and the contract between us comes into existence.
When must I pay the balance of my walking holiday? Full payment is due no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of your walking holiday.
Will you send me a reminder when I have to pay the balance? We do not issue a reminder. Please note that late payments or non-receipt of your balance could result in the cancellation of your walking holiday (with subsequent loss of deposit). Please see our booking conditions for full details.
Can we book our walking holiday over the phone? No. It is essential that all clients book by way of our secure online booking request form, as we cannot process your credit card payment, and therefore confirm, your booking otherwise.
I don’t have a credit card. What are my options? In general, the deposit payment is only accepted by credit card. However, in some exceptional circumstances, International money transfers may be possible. Please contact us if this is your case, but please be aware that your walking holiday will not be confirmed until payment is received.
Can I use my debit card to make a booking? No. Only credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/Amex) are accepted at present.
Is my personal data safe with you? Yes, 100%. We will never sell, give away or use your personal information in any way except to send you our newsletter (provided you have signed up for it). Also, it is our policy to delete credit card data from our database and server once the booking process is completed.
I want to make a booking for a group. Can I use my credit card to pay for them? Yes, you can use your credit card to make bookings for other people. However, please do not forget to list the names of all group members on the booking request form.
My computer crashed near the end of the online process, is my booking confirmed? Please contact us. DO NOT make a duplicate booking.
Can I change the date of my walking holiday? Yes, subject to availability and an amendment fee, you may change your walking holiday booking to another date within the same year. Your holiday CANNOT, however, be carried over to the following year.
Can I cancel my walking holiday? Yes you can. The lead name on the booking must advise us in writing as soon as possible. Your walking holiday will be cancelled from the date we receive written notification (email notifications are acceptable). If you cancel you will be liable to pay cancellation fees as detailed in our Booking Conditions. Please note: if the reason for the cancellation is covered under the terms of your holiday insurance policy you may be able to reclaim these charges.
